Dequan?! Where do they come up with these names?

My favorite is one that a friend, who works in a hospital, told me about.

The name on a birth certificate for a newborn was...."La-a".

Pronounced "LaDasha".

that poor kid. no one is going to get her name right.

some of my favorite weird brit names have to do with the way they are pronounced like Cholmondeley and Featherstonehaugh

I know a teacher who had a student with a name pronounced...

“Shi-theed”

However, it was spelled “Shithead”
