The Spike Protein describes the entire structure of the protein formation. It’s structure is uniquely constructed to attach to the ACE2 “receptor” on the host cell; like a key being inserted into a lock. At that site, the virus is able to penetrate host cells and initiate infection. How well that Spike Protein is able to link up to the ACE2 “receptor” determines how contagious the virus. Those who are designing a virus for weaponization, will genetically design the Spike Protein for maximum efficiency.

Misleading: Contrary to Martin’s claims, early research on coronaviruses didn’t involve modified viruses nor human experimentation apart from studies of infections with naturally-occurring human coronaviruses establishing that these viruses caused colds.

Factually inaccurate: Old patent applications for coronavirus vaccines and vectors cited by Martin are for animal coronaviruses. None of them is related to SARS-CoV-2 nor do they prove that the virus was developed as a bioweapon.

Adds credibility to the story of the spike definition posted here in the past couple of weeks. A molecular biologist working with nano-particles noticed the ‘spike’ is actually carbon nano-particles that bind to each other in a chain. At some point the chain closes, and makes a single layer molecule of carbon in a circular shape. Like a buzz-saw blade, whizzing thru arteries and veins, nerves, endocrine channels .....
