The establishment media have air-balled yet another big story with regard to former President Donald Trump as the merger between a SPAC and the company behind Trump’s Truth Social media platform was approved Friday despite nonstop predictions the past couple years this would not happen.

How does one purchase stock in Truth Social. I have next to no funds (retired and all that), and I have only ever bought one stock in my life that lost all my money. Don’t know how to do this. Anyone with insight?

Ask yourself “why”. Emotional attachment to President Trump’s cause? (Don’t feel like the lone ranger, I have that emotional attachment in spades.) Or do you really truly calculate that you’ll make a lot of money from your investment?
You may want to watch from the sidelines if you can’t afford to lose 100% of what you invest. It’s risky.
You can set up an account with TD Ameritrade, deposita couple hundred bucks like you would in a bank...and when truth social is tradable in the next day or whatever....just type in the ticker, and then click the “buy” button for how many shares you want.
You cant financially ruin yourself with this, because you will have only a cash account, and the most it will allow you to purchase is how much money you deposited.
Although word of caution...when stocks like this are go public.....they normally spike, then crash good bit...then slowly climb again over the next 18 months....or in some cases, NEVER go back to their all time high at the initial offering.

Not really emotional — just have always wanted to invest and never quite know how to go about it. I DID buy Zion Oil & Gas stock and lost my shirt...put quite a bit into that (at least, it was quite a bit for ME).
