I think bicycles and 15 minute cities for the 5-10% who are judged worthy is the real plan. This is just a way to get there.
Putting people in cities is a great way to kill off as many as you need to in order to “right-size” the population to the world. You just cut off roads going out and go through the city in a grid-like fashion and kill all that are deemed unworthy.
A percentage of eco-activist are turning against b bicycles.
They claim, possibly correctly, that a bicycle requires as much space on the road as a car, and that the cost and ecological damage of building roads for bicycles is about the same as building them for cars. Add to that the unrecyclable nature of carbon-reinforced-plastic bike frames which make disposable diapers look like a compostable material and bicycles are fairly non-eco-friendly.
They want you to walk on a dirt path.
