Post your Favorite Fights/Fight Scenes. Live or in film, with famous quotes.
Choreography was very good. Had action, humor, and intense martial arts.

As a big-time hockey fan, the epic scene where the players from the Boston Bruins climbed into the seats at Madison Square Garden to brawl with New York Rangers fans will always be at the top of my list.
Cassius Clay & Sonny Liston knockout...GREAT choreography of that fake punch!
Ever been in a gang fight? (Not referring to the racist “wilding” of the day.)
Get 20 people. Give large slabs of beef, plus baseball bats, to 10. Give metal pots and pans to the other 10.
Have the 10 with beef and baseball bats, pound on the steaks.
Have the 10 with pots and pans, bound them on the pavement.
Have the 20 people grunt and groan.
For 3 - 4 minutes.
Record the sounds.
Some of the fights are famous, but nothing you normally want to see.

Mel Brooks was famous for breaking down the “third wall”, and showing the film lot and background. (Although I suppose it was also just a set made to look like the film lot!).
He said that idea came when he was just a youngster in the Catskills. I can’t remember if he was an understudy that was also a busboy at the venue, or just a busboy and knew the play by heart. Anyway, one of the actors playing an older man got sick and Mel had to fill in.
They dressed him up in a suit and hat and a fake beard. He messed up a line and the crowd booed. He pulled down the beard and lifted his hat and said something like “Hey - I’m twelve!”
The crowd laughed.
Later
Daredevil, season 1. The hallway scene where Daredevil is fighting Kingpin’s men to rescue a kidnapping victim. It’s amazing.

I miss the days when FR was a Conservative Activism site.
“sword fight in the Princess Bride.”
Second that and also Boromir’s fight before he died, Lord of the Rings.
“After the bout is over and frazier dont answer the bell I’m gonna jump over the ring and take on Howard Cosell”
— Mohammud Ali to Howard Cosell
“Without a doubt, when Edward Norton beats himself half dead in front of his supervisor.
For those of you who do not know, it is from Fight Club, and it is glorious.”
You are breaking the first two rules...
I agree, the best fist fight ever was on “They Live”.
Roddy Piper vs some other guy.
My second favorite fight was between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in the Colosseum in Rome. I forget the name of the movie.
59 posts and no even metions Sonny Corleone beating the crap out of Carlo. I know you can see them pulling their punches but it was it good ass kickin.
