Let’s consider that citation for a moment.
When we regret an act, we have guilt for our action or inaction.
That guilt is borne of our knowledge of the Natural Law; the Law written upon our hearts.
That guilt begs at our conscience, enslaving it to the “woulda-shoulda-coulda” loop of anxiety.
We break that loop by our Faith in God’s promised salvation through Jesus the Christ.
I ponder, what is the result of God “regretting” his action?
