I hear you, gymbeau. The Summer National Bridge Championships are in Toronto this year and people are shocked that I don’t want to go when it’s so close to me. It’s very expensive, I can’t fly there, there’s no parking if I drive there, if I do find parking it will be be $50 a day, and it’s increasingly dangerous, especially now that my car could be stolen, possibly with me in it. I just don’t see an ‘up’ side to being there.

I can dig it! You live in a lovely area; I used to attend the Canadian Car of the Year TestFest there 10 or so years ago.
Now that my Dad has passed, I feel no pressing need to visit Ontario at all any more.
