Good information and advice. I’ll make an exception and put 10-12 corn seeds in the ground and see what grows. I’ll keep your post and do some research and see if I can get enough cobs for a few meals. Thank you.

When I was in 2nd grade (a longggggggggggg time ago), students were given a “seed” to plant at home. So I took my seed and planted it right at the front door of my house, never expecting it to amount to anything. It ended up being a corn seed and grew to about 6-7 feet. I was so excited (my parents were not) but unfortunately it produced Indian corn (small colorful, not edible).
