A “big win” would have been a total elimination of Fani Willis and Nathan Wade from this case, and a recommendation for their prosecution

they had a hidden sexual relationship. They clearly established a kick-back and money-laundering scheme, using tax-payer money and media protection with Trump as the bogeyman, where govt money goes to Wade, then back to Willis

And then they lied about it, multiple times.

This judge is a failure, and totally corrupt

Amen. I watched much of the testimony live. The corruption was overwhelming!

The best analogy I know of? You find two men in a bank vault stuffing cash into sacks. You arrest one. You tell the other, “Nice to see you, Police Commissioner!”

I agree.

And the Federalist Society should be embarrassed by this decision.

“Scott McAfee was the vice president of the college’s chapter of The Federalist Society while attending the University of Georgia, where he graduated with his law degree three years later. The Federalist Society is a group of conservatives and libertarians dedicated to reforming the current legal order. The group has played a major role nationally in securing conservative judges appointed to the bench, including the Supreme Court.”

I disagree 100%.

Disqualifying them doesn't end the case. It just forces the case to get handed off to another prosecutor.

If I am Donald Trump and I'm the target of a politically motivated prosecution, I WANT the case to be prosecuted by a ghetto slob like Fani Mugabe. As long as she is around, the optics for this case -- aside from rabidly partisan Democrats -- are very much in Trump's favor.

His ruling was certainly a disappointment.

Willis’ church speech was only tangent to Trump and other defendants; it was really a message to Judge McAfee - you can't spank black Fani in Georgia.

He could not stand up against that. I'm surprised he said as much as he did; to me it looks like he may have written things in his opinion that he didn't have permission to write.

The man could be at some risk in Fulton County, politically speaking.

That said, Judge McAfee gave her a hard row to hoe. She is now officially tainted.

Agreed.

This judge is a frikkin’ coward. He only cares about his own ass, not justice. He’s now clearly a part of this railroad scheme. No conviction would survive an appeal and they all know it.
