Star tennis player Carlos Alcaraz was attacked by bees in a surreal scene at Indian Wells.
Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev were tied 1-1 in the first set of the quarterfinal of the BNP Paribas Open when the attack occurred.
All of a sudden, Alcaraz was swarmed as he was lining up to serve, and he had to run off the court to avoid the bees.

Bee group think
They have a combined memory of what they previously perceived as a hostile. In particular, the colors and their pattern - of the hostile.
Somewhat related (the color pattern thing), the bees might incorrectly “see” you as a branch of a tree.
No. No, he wasnt attacked by bees anymore than anyone else there was attacked by bees.
He sure did act like little pussy. But he wasnt attacked.

I have a friend that always was a terrific athlete. Quarterback of the football team, excellent first baseman — a natural athlete.
However he’s extremely allergic to bees.
One baseball game he was on first base waiting for a throw from third to make a force-out. A bee buzzed by and Jim took off! Screaming and yelling: ‘A BEE! A BEE!’
I think the batter ended up with a home run and Jim got an error.
That was a dude running around like a pussy!
A few years ago he was visiting and we were on the North side of the house, sitting in some shade on a hot summer’s day and a bee buzzed by — ZIP! Off he went until I could assure him that the bee was gone.
Apparently it’s 50/50 wether he will survive if he gets stung again.
