In Australia, road killed kangaroos are as common as road killed deer in Wisconsin.

"Deputy Jeff Neighbor... saw a kangaroo jump out of the woods and onto the higher..."I think I see the problem.
Who knew Ike & Tina were singing about kangaroos?

“Baffled”? I thought I hit a deer, but, I’ll be damned, it was a kangaroo! If the “bafflement” extended farther than that, then the driver is an idiot

If you own a kangaroo and don't want it to go roaming on the highways, you should
tie it down.

A few years ago my brother heard a story from an EMT about a run he made to patch up the victim of a beating on an evening in a semi-rural area east of Orlando, Florida. As the EMT tended to cuts and bruises on the victim's face, he explained that after a few beers, he hopped the fence to swap punches with the kangaroo next door -- and got badly thrashed.
The EMT asked skeptically, "What kangaroo?" The victim then pointed at a nearby fence and said, "THAT kangaroo." And there it was, bouncing up and down, eager for another round.

Clearly Oklahoma is being overrun by kangaroos. To get the population under control they will need to introduce Australia’s apex predator, the platypus.
