Kangaroos are surprisingly common in Wisconsin. This article actually misses at least one, possibly two that I knew of.

At least this time they acknowledged the possibility. For one of the ones back in the 70s they tried to convince everyone that they were actually seeing deer with their front legs shot off.

Kangaroos in Wisconsin are only slightly more common than alligators.

What I dont get is why so many of these articles claim they are circus escapees when Baraboo stopped being an over wintering spot long before some of these sightings and yet they will point out that these things cant make it through the winter. Shrug
