A Minnesota mom has been accused of drowning her adorable eight-month-old son in the tub before having sex with her boyfriend while the infant lay dead nearby.
Esperanza Rae Harding, 20, has been charged with second degree murder over the February 28 incident after showing up at the hospital on March 1 and claiming the toddler died naturally.
Prosecutors allege that she drowned her baby boy, Mateo, in the tub at a Bloomington hotel on the Minnesota-Minneapolis border because he was ruining her bath by crying.
Harding's boyfriend Edwin Cosmo Trudeau, 18, has also been charged with aiding an offender for allegedly turning up at the hotel and advising her to put the baby's body in the trash.
Both Harding and Trudeau also attempted CPR on the child to no avail, and had sex in the bedroom while his dead body lay on the ground in the bathroom, according to the criminal complaint.
The complaint says Minneapolis cops went to the children's hospital on March 6, where Harding claimed her son had died of natural causes on March 1.
Since the hospital had no record of her son attending, cops interviewed Harding who eventually admitted that the baby died in the Bloomington hotel on February 28.
Harding confessed that she 'wrapped up his body, put it in a backpack, and threw it in a dumpster'.
She added that Trudeau 'did not like her child and that he wanted her to give him up for adoption' according to the complaint.
'She stated that Trudeau wanted her to prove that he was her top priority,' the document says.

Do you think she is white or has the photo been lightened. If you compare her facial structure to the boyfriend it looks similar. Same thing with the father busting into daughters classroom. I wonder if the father’s photo has been lightened as well.
This is a girl raised in the abortion culture. If you believe you have a right to kill a human baby before birth, why wouldn’t you think it is okay to kill the exact same baby after birth?
Under Minnesota’s anything goes abortion laws, I’m surprised this wasn’t classified as a post birth abortion
