Moscow was trying to "Russify" Ukraine as far back as the 19th century, suppressing religion, suppressing language, and-and-and. They did the same to Poland. That's what the book Children of Rus' that I've been mentioning is all about. I have deeply researched history backing me up. You have nothing but Putin's propaganda.

Meanwhile Moscow is doing exactly what you claim Ukraine is doing in the Donbass and Crimea. Ukrainians and Tatars are forced to obtain a Russian passport to get a job, or a drivers license, or even to get medical care.

Again, you know nothing about Ukraine’s history, so you are right that debating you is not worth the effort, because you ignorance dominates your thinking. Try learning the history of Ukraine.

I cite one of the most deeply researched books on Ukrainian history published in the last ten years, just one of three or four such books I've read in the last couple of years, and you say I know nothing. Just what books have YOU read? Titles and authors please.

All you provided was the website Institute for the Study of War. Some of their stuff is worthwhile, while other stuff is totally based on bias.

You provided no books or authors.

How about you disseminating some of the knowledge you claim to know.

You provided no books or authors.

Faith Hillis' Children of Rus' which I just cited is not a book? Who knew? (I know it's academically dense, but see if you can't get through the introduction.)

George Vernadsky's A History of Russia is not a book?

Russia and the Golden Horde: The Mongol Impact on Medieval Russian History by Charles Halperin is not a book?

Bloodlands by Timothy Snyder is not a book?

I've read and cited all of these and more here on FR.

Your turn. What books have YOU read? Aleksandr Dugin maybe?

I cite one of the most deeply researched books on Ukrainian history published in the last ten years, just one of three or four such books I've read in the last couple of years, and you say I know nothing.

Those are books on Russia, and you call me dense? You're an idiot.

I never said Russia was perfect, but I also say that Ukraine is no better. Ukraine has never really existed throughout history as a functioning country. Some other country held their land in some form or another.

In fact, they had their most longest run of under Russia, and they provided control of the the land east of the Dnieper River for ridding them of the the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland control.

But it is also well known just how badly they have treated the Russian speaking Ukrainians after the coup d'état & the so-called revolution of dignity.

Did you read about that in your books? That's part of the reason for the Russian invasion, along with the threats made by NATO expansionism that Putin clearly stated was one of two red lines, the other being Georgia.

But the bottom line here, is that I am far more concerned as to what is happening in this nation, because that is where my children, grandchildren & yes even great grandchildren live, not Ukraine., and Ukraine is not a NATO nation. I wish them well, but if this nation falls, Ukraine will cease to exist as well.

In other words, our survival does not depend upon Ukraine's fate. If they want to keep fighting, that is their choice, but my recommendation is for them to hash out a peace agreement.

Unless of course you are hell-bent on starting World War III.

No, because it isn't true.

No, because it isn't true.

It's true, otherwise, there would have been no need for not one, but two Minsk Accords in 2014 & 2015.

That proves that you haven't a clue as to what is the truth & what is propaganda. You really have no clue whatsoever, beyond the propaganda that you have been fed by the Usurper in Chief and the presstitutes who spew forth the propaganda to bolster the narrative of the of the lying, cheating communis Democrats & RINOs (a.k.a. the Uni-party).

I also notice that you remain mum on what is happening in this country? Are you a communist supporter, who has turned against Russia also because they will not play along with those conspiring to create a One World Government?

Whatever the reason is for that, shows me that you are not concerned about what is happening to this country, at all.

I'll give you a Mulligan, Chad, in order for you to try again with your BS, fool.

I was right before. You make up your own facts, or maybe have them fed to you, Or maybe they come to you in dreams? I can’t converse with anyone like that.

Well, if you are correct and I am making up facts explain what the Minsk Accords were.

Also explain why Angela Merkle admitted that the Minsk Accords were just used as a delay tactic to arm & train the Ukraine military. The Crimea had been transferred from the Crimean oblast in the Soviet Union in 1954 was an administrative action of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet that transferred the government of Crimea from the Russian SFSR to the Ukrainian SSR, and it was done by Nikita Khrushchev. But it was originally taken from the Ottoman Empire, not Ukraine. So, don't try to include Russia's quick retaking of the Crimea as justification.

While you are at it, you can also explain why Boris Johnson intervened when Zelenskyy & Putin were engaging in peaceful negotiations, to convince Zelenskyy to not negotiate peaceful resolution with Putin, and that NATO would have his back.

You can also explain why the NATO nations dragged their feet on giving Ukraine the necessary weapons to fight Russia. Most of the initial aid came from the US exclusively.

I'll be waiting with bated breath for your non response, response. Moet likely you will provide more chest beating telling me I'm wrong & you are right.

Because your only argument has not been proof providing me with evidence that I am wrong. All you have to offer is your insistence that I am wrong.

I would expect nothing other than a lame response from you, because it's you who lacks facts, Jack.

Russia gained some momentum after capturing Avdviivka. But I guess the Ukrainians were able to build new trenches.

My guess is that the Ukrainians will build more drones now to help them defend which will compensate for their lack of manpower and shortage in artillery.
