You're missing the point. Amash is technically "Christian" on paper (he was baptized, goes to church on Easter, etc.) and claims to be one in public, but doesn't actually practice the faith or remotely support any traditional Christian values (like upholding the sanctity of marriage). He's no different than Joe Biden or Bill Clinton that regard.
