Oh, boy, I am the last person to pick up on any movie references, sorry. Almost every time I can answer a movie trivia question it’s because I learned about the reference on the Q threads. Not a movie fan.

It’s a great scene in the movie “The Help”. The movie is about the colored help in Jackson, Mississippi who partner with a college educated white girl who writes a scandalous book about the locals who “ The Help” work for in Jackson around the time of JFK’s assassination and the civil rights movement.

Believe me when I tell you the Miss Hillie character deserved the pie she ate. After she eats it she discovers what was put into it and after that anyone Hillie threatens with her manipulative nastiness “Tells her she’s been eating too much pie”.

I haven’t laughed so hard watching a movie as I did with this one in a while….it’s original, and there aren’t too many movies these days that can say that.
