There are more questions here than answers.
Who told the driver it was Plan B? It had to be the customer. No pharmacy would violate HIPAA by disclosing a prescription.
And if the customer told the driver it was Plan B, then WHEN did she tell him? Before the order was accepted?
If so - the driver has a duty to fulfill his promise. If after acceptance - the driver has right of refusal.
I drive for Doordash,been doing it for over 3 years. We do deliveries all the time where WE have to actually shop for the items we’re going to deliver. It’s not just ‘pick up a sealed package and go’.
I am a Christian, and no less than 3 times, I have had to deliver Plan B. All 3 times, I have had to shop for the item. I delivered them without incident.
As I see it, I am just doing a job. It’s not my job to judge what someone has done with their life.
