“Is a Datsun Maxima the same as a Nissan Maxima?”
Yes! They were Datsun’s before they became Nissan. I just read up on them and it said the Datsun name was phased out in 1985, so we bought that car earlier then I thought.
One thing I didn’t like about it was that the drivers seat sat a little off kilter. I don’t recall why they did that. That car was in perfect condition for years until my husband decided to take half of the garage for his workshop. Then it had to sit outside and the sun deteriorated the upholstry.

It’s a heck of a car! Fast, reliable. Like I said, I’ve had that car since 2011 and other than normal maintenance, I have had to make one repair for $800.00. Something to do with a spring that broke, suspension or something.
Amazing vehicle and still looks new! Unlike the owner.
