I used to have one!
One of the ladies in the assisted living
home where I worked asked me to take.
her,it was either me, or the gallows.
She was 12 when I took her, and she lived to be 17.
She was asleep (or so I thought) she had passed
away in her bed overnight.
*Sniff*
She was a long haired Doxy, black and tan, and very
“lady like” for s doggie!
(Think of “lady” in Lady and the Tramp.)
The only down side is Doxys are stubborn!
She was delightful, and made instant friends with my black kitty, Minette.
They would walk side by side a lot of the time!
I miss them BOTH!
The little monster I have now, is like all of them combined!
It is hard to lose your pets.
Today I went and dropped my ballot off at the drop box then drove around to our community mailbox. When I got out two beautiful pups came running up jumping all over me. I have never seen these dogs in the neighborhood before. One looked like a stub tailed Australian Shepard and the other a pure black Shitzu (I think). NO TAGS or collars. I had to go get a neighbor to help keep them away so I could get in my car and go home without running over them.
If I was MUCH younger I would have kept them in a minute after trying to find out where they belonged.
So far all I have received is the water color paints and sponges. I don’t have Amazon Prime (as I am patient) and just use free shipping so it takes a bit longer. Once I get them I will be immersed in how to do it.
