Will be sold for 10 cents on the dollar to developers or the state. This was the plan.
Watching that vid, the smell of urine and feces wafts.
And commercial real estate is just fine…
Yes, most likely a Chinese affiliated developer.
Put the homeless in the empty buildings.
Two solutions; brown bag your lunch and use Amazon for shopping. If that doesn’t work, stop voting for Democrats.
I used to go to San Francisco 3 to 4 times a year for decades, and I watched it crumble slowly over all that time. San Fransicko quickly approaching the Detroit stage where it all collapses. It could be such a beautiful city again if only it wasn’t infested with criminals and communist.

Don’t know what you saw in the city a few months ago but...
looks like they have a lot of room for more illegals from Texas
Elect enough democrats for a long enough period of time and they can do this to YOUR city too... Beautiful to trash in less than 30 years.
I think this is all deliberate. Now that all businesses are closed, Blackrock or some other group will come in and buy up all the property for pennies on the dollar.
Then that area of San Francisco will be revitalized to become one of California’s first “15 minute city”. Note that the streets have already been redone to allow for mostly bike and EV lanes with no car parking allowed. Several years ago, parking places were removed from in front of the businesses and the sidewalks were widened. That was a ploy to start the push to get all those businesses to close. They then allowed the druggies and homeless to take over the streets to make sure no new business would move in as replacements.
Soon we will see Mission Street cleaned up and redone. Apartments will go in for the employees, businesses will suddenly open, but no gas-powered vehicles will be allowed. Bike, pedestrian, EV buses only will be all allowed in the area.
Success!
But...but...Joe and Gavin say everything is fine in SF.
Does anyone else see a correlation between being a sanctuary city and that city slowly dying?
That video guy (Metal Leo) shows us things the mayor would greatly prefer we not see. What I particularly like about him is that he doesn’t editorialize. He doesn’t shove in his own personal opinions.
Just the facts. Every journalist should be like that. Unfortunately, few are.
I knew that San Francisco was doomed when Democrat Mayor Frank Jordan was defeated by Willie Brown in 1995. Jordan made a yuge mistake when he let KRQR (97.3 FM) morning DJs Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps do a radio remote while taking a shower.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Frank Jordan gaffe => Willie Brown (Kamala Harris) => Gavin Newsom => Ed Lee => London Breed

The city of filthy degenerate homo’s. San Francisco did this to themselves.
Tear down the bathhouses and Harvey Milk statue then maybe normal people will come back, although I doubt it.
The long waited earthquake is what’s needed now. /spit
“Will be sold for 10 cents on the dollar to developers or the state.”
One developer announced a deep discount purchase of an SF building a few months back. But I’m not aware of any others.
Unless there are major societal changes (getting rid of woke DAs, strong law & order policing, boosting police budgets, strict enforcement of what’s left of vagrancy laws, stopping the drug flow, huge sea-change in voting behavior, etc) these cities are not coming back. And there’s little sign that any correctives are being applied or will be applied.
Plus you have the overhand of that insane New York AG working hard to illegally steal Trump’s assets and the very stupid governor saying “We won’t do it to you - only to Trump. Please don’t leave NYC!” That Bill of Attainder and Cruel & Unusual Punishment can be copied by any woke state or city.
Would any developer in his right mind invest in SF? I’m doubtful.
