The fact that it has been taken to destructive and unfair extremes doesn’t make the original effort illegitimate. In those days, a Black person could hardly get his foot in the door of the great educational institutions or land a good job once educated. These were the days of George Wallace standing in the schoolhouse door.

I KNOW how “affirmative action” began. I don’t need the smarmy leftists at wikihahahahapedia to tell me about my own life.

It was wrong then and has become a monster, as intended.

In retrospect, George Wallace was more right than the revolutionaries, fellow-travelers, and useful idiots pushing the grossly misnamed “civil” “rights” “movement”.
