This reminds me of the close Robert Jordan’s Dragon Reborn series of novels. The Aiels’ desert home turns into a lush paradise as an ocean fills up a valley.

That lush green will dry out and turn brown. A fire danger.

That green will attract and feed rodents and insects.

Some fun to watch, and some destructive.

It’s called Death Valley for some strange reason.

And then we've got idiots like Bill Gates who want to seed the atmosphere with particulates to bring the temperature down.

Do you know what's far, far worse than global warming? Global cooling.

It’s an El Nino year. I’ll bet it’s dry again, next winter.
