If you think the wing looks bad, just consider what happened to the bird!

Caused by global warming?

Funny how aircraft damage is always a lot more critical when your actually ON it. π

A blind man on a galloping horse will never notice it.

Isn’t United the airline with the cross-dressing CEO, who has mandated that a large percentage of its future pilots be black females?

Did you get that memo about the bird strike forms?
Yeeahhh
You see, from now on, we aren't sending any birds out without forms.

...after the planeβs wing started βcoming apartβ mid-flight. Midflight? That would put the aircraft at least 30,000 feet up...maybe higher.
Some birds can fly up to 37,000 but I would seriously doubt this was a bird strike.

I am old enough to remember when Aeroflot had many mechanical issues with its planes.
I guess that is what happens when a country is under COMMUNIST LEADERSHIP.

Birds fly, planes fly, but the shouldn’t be flying in exactly the same place at the same time...

Actually, it kind of is just a scratch.
That damaged part is the forward slat. It kind of rolls a bit forward and down when deployed. It increases efficiencies of the airfoil at low speeds. Particularly used at takeoff.
The wing (undamaged)begins just behind that slat.
