Bud Light must be the primary example of why a company should not do that ever again.
So ... what you said.

It was obviously sarcasm. I doubt they sold one extra beer because of that.

Corporations are afraid of making funny commercials because they might offend somebody.
If I'm Miller Lite, I'll make fun of Bud Lite by mocking Dylan Mulvaney.
It'll be a huge hit. But can't make that ad because it would be transphobic.

Does he get government subsidies?
To: Red Badger
I’m not buying Hawaiian rolls either, just BECAUSE of those two
But even more so, too sweet too expensive
Like 3x the price of regular WalMart or even Aldi’s rolls which I prefer

“you’re a reactionary clown whining about how kids these days aren’t learning home economics or marrying Republicans, or whatever.”
Sounds horrifying...

For what it’s worth, I though beer ads were terrible long before they put transgenders in them.
To: nickcarraway
I agree. They were horrible back in the 1980s when they poisoned my college stadium with ‘tastes great less filling’ nonsense which had nothing to do with the game.
To: MinorityRepublican
But can't make that ad because it would be transphobic.Dave Chapelle will make it for you and it will be funny - guaranteed.

I used to like beer commercials showing the Clydesdales or the dalmatian or the frogs. I never liked their beer.

I thought the frogs were stupid. How many times can you go to the Clydesdale well? I don’t remember dalmatians.
To: nickcarraway
They could have ran this as an ad;
“Bud Light ... now fruitless.”
I guess they’re still sticking with trannies and don’t care about reaching out to their former customers. Not that it would get me back but at least it could eventually get me to try it again. Not in the next decade at least.

The frogs got old quickly. The dalmatian would ride in the wagon usually.
