Back in the early 70s I was enjoying quite nice and frequent carnal relations with a woman. One night after a particularly enjoyable romp she mentioned that she had had herpes, but it was “cured”. Freaked me out. That ended a nice run of great sex. Fortunately I didn’t contract it.

Other researchers have shown this correlation between HSV and dementia. Also, HSV DNA can be found in the brains of people who have HSV.
Valacyclovir daily for suppression is a good idea.
HVZ or shingles immunization makes sense too.
