That certainly happened, but WW2 put a LOT of women in the factories. Some managed to stay on the assembly lines after the drastic reduction of war machines.
Farm machinery saw a big surge in the 50s as larger and more complex equipment were being produced. The Quad Cities (official nickname of Davenport and Bettendorf Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline IL) was the world capital for farm machinery production from the 50s thru the 80s, with John Deere, International Harvestor (Farmall), JI Case, and Minneapolis-Moline all having plants there.
While a minority, women were at those plants. And still are (at the plants that still exist).

It is an excellent start down the rabbit hole.
Imho it goes a lot deeper than that though.
In science fiction they speak of terraforming to make a hostile planet habitable for humans.
Think about the concept of cultureforming—and who might want that....
A couple more comments about cultureforming—obviously the LGBT insanity is another example of that.
You can tell a lot about the species doing the terraforming by what they change the planet atmosphere to—even if you never see the species.

I don’t think the thread has been killed. Just a lot of people are busy with other things.
Also a lot on this subject has already been said here on Free Republic. It’s nice that this guy from Wales has taken the time to do a deep dive into the subject. Who would have expected someone from the UK to get interested in the history of feminism, starting with the machinations of economic and political elites in the United States.
Perhaps the truth will seep out into the popular culture, like the truth about the Democrat Party being the slavery party and the Republican Party being the anti-slavery party.
I had hoped that Dr. Carol M. Swain would get some traction about the latter.

Gloria Steinem was/is a supporter of Che Guevara.
I saw an article online that had her in her home and there was photo of him on the wall. The article was from the late 60’s or early 70’s. Long after the mass murderer was dead.
