Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak held a meeting on concluding bilateral agreements on security commitments between Ukraine and partner states as part of the implementation of the G7 Joint Declaration signed in Vilnius.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Heads of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva and Roman Mashovets, Special Presidential Commissioner for the Implementation of International Security Commitments and Development of the Defense Forces Yevhen Moysiuk, Head of the Security Service Vasyl Maliuk, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Serhiy Boyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mykola Tochytskyi, Deputy Minister of Justice Iryna Mudra, Director of the International Defense Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense Hennadiy Kovalenko, representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskyi.

Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of all EU and NATO member states joining the G7 Joint Declaration.

"We have to map our needs and our vision of what our army should be like today and in the future, after the victory. Today it is not only a matter of our vision, it is also a matter of interaction with partners, a matter of our future membership in NATO," the Head of the Presidential Office said.

He noted that the relevant map of needs could become an important reference point for partner countries negotiating security commitments for Ukraine.

Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts between government agencies directly involved in the relevant negotiations.

14 Feb: Ukrainians sent the biggest Russian ship to the bottom of the sea
2-14-2024 11:45 p.m. EST
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z3YSyD5vYE

I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the seven-hundred-twenty-first day of the war.

Day 721: Feb 14

Today, there is a lot of news.

First of all, the Ukrainian Special Forces conducted a successful operation, where they engaged and neutralized the large Russian landing ship “Caesar Kunikov” south of Crimea. This vessel, part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, represented one of the newest and best additions to the Russian naval capabilities. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians utilized seven unmanned surface vessels to target the ship at night, more precisely, the fifth generation of Magura drones.

Russian analysts note adaptations of the Ukrainian so-called “Wolfpack” tactics, which are especially successful against stationary targets at sea. This tactic implies a coordinated attack, where each drone plays a crucial role in the success of the operation, be that a role of reconnaissance, decoy, or striker.

Based on the combat footage released by the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate, four drones inflicted critical damage to the port side of “Caesar Kunikov,” leading to its sinking. Preliminary reports indicate a significant loss of life among the Russian vessel’s crew. Search and rescue operations conducted by Russian forces were reportedly too late and unsuccessful.

The analysts noted that Russian commanders made a fatal mistake by stopping in the middle of the sea. Based on the footage, the drones were approaching the ship relatively slowly, which means that they were much quieter and harder to detect. Getting so close while being undetected would be impossible if the ship was moving because the drones would have needed to move faster to catch up.

However, the marine drone strike actually happened only after the aerial drone strike. Russian sources reported that before sinking the ship, Ukrainians launched several waves of aerial drones. Russian analysts note that the area of operation of Ukrainian aerial drones increased significantly because now Ukrainians are attacking Crimea not only from the west but also from the north and east. This implies that the January strike campaign degraded the Russian air defense capabilities considerably.

Russian sources even reported that Russians had to engage their fighter jets to intercept two out of three waves of drone attacks. The fact that Russians were engaging additional resources for aerial drone interception indicates that they were once again overly focused on the problems in the sky, failing to prepare for the main attack on their ship from the sea.

At the same time, Russian sources confirmed the death of the commander of the Russian seventy-seventh marine brigade, who died in the hospital in Crimea. Some sources indicate that he was wounded during the previous strike on the Russian headquarters in Crimea, while others say that he was wounded in the Kherson region.

Recently, Russian forces also conducted a series of strikes. Their FIRST target became a thermal power station in Dnipro, resulting in the suspension of electricity production. The attack, executed under the cover of night, inflicted substantial damage on critical and large-scale equipment without causing injuries.

The SECOND target became the village Selydove, which is located around forty kilometers away from Avdiivka. Russian sources reported that Russian forces hit a large deployment point using Iskander missiles with cluster munitions and killed up to six hundred troops. Some sources claimed that Russians hit the newly arrived detachments from the third assault brigade that were supposed to reinforce Avdiivka. Shortly after that, Ukrainian fighters from the third assault brigade released combat footage confirming that they were already in Avdiivka, not Selydove. Then Russian sources started claiming that they destroyed wounded troops that withdrew from Avdiivka. Later, local residents published photos of their destroyed houses, indicating that Russians did not hit the shooting range with Ukrainian soldiers.

The THIRD target became a temporary Ukrainian equipment park in Tsukurino. The footage confirms that Russians managed to damage and destroy multiple vehicles with cluster munitions. By the way, this settlement is located just two kilometers away from Selydove, and both strikes happened simultaneously. Judging by the fact that the footage from this strike was promptly released, while the footage from Selydove was withheld again, it indicates that Russians did not hit a huge base.

Russia has been hit with massive attacks in Kursk and in Rostov, with major Oil depots being hit and destroyed by Ukrainian drone forces. Russia lost a large number of Zala drones in Rostov from a partisan attack, losing millions. A

Russian warship sank of Crimea today from a Ukrainian drone attack. Russian forces have operationally encircled Avdiivka, but an emergency move of the 3rd Brigade has been conducted to relieve the embattled 110th and try to reopen the highway of life for the garrison inside the city.

Russia had MILLIONS of drones. Wow… who knew.

Ukraine becomes “Destroyer of Drones by the Millions”. Now THAT is something to brag about… not that I actually believe it.

I wonder what Ukraine’s deaths are? I’d venture to guess less than the fentanyl deaths in the US caused by wide open borders. Let’s get our own house in order before we go saving foreigners.

The Ukrainian military, in defense of a money-laundering corrupticratic state, has been murdering innocent Russian men, women, and children for decades, and committing a blatant genocide of epic proportion, with an out-of-control NATO and a thoroughly corrupted Western media backing it all up. When Putin invariably runs out of diplomatic options short of war to quell the violence and stop the carnage, and is left with no other choice than to respond militarily, you all start running your mouths on Free Republic, of all places, accusing him of the exact same fascistic atrocities your side has been aggressively committing and been guilty of for over a generation. God bless Putin, defending the Russian people. We know who’s blessing you.

.....meeting on concluding bilateral agreements on security commitments between Ukraine and partner states as part of the implementation of the G7 Joint Declaration signed in Vilnius.

Firstly, a declaration(s) is NOT a security agreement between the US and UKR. It is merely that, a declaration by one political arm of this government's UNAPPROVED political policy (i.e., approved by the US Senate). We have no officially endorsed, binding commitments with UKR, by treaty or statute. Additionally, UKR was never part of NATO, nor was (or is) an officially NATO-endorsed aspirant.

IMO, the article is just more UKR support propaganda fodder.

[Lastly, and this is just picky. BILATERAL means between TWO parties. Declarations by the G7 (SEVEN), no matter what import they carry (or do not), are not that. Who writes this stuff?]

Trump changes tactics, now claiming he’d do more for Ukraine than Biden did
Olena Roshchina
Thursday, 15 February 2024, 10:18

Former US President Donald Trump, who is running for office again, has told his supporters that he would do more to protect Ukraine than current US leader Joe Biden.

SOURCE: Trump at a campaign event in North Charleston, quoted by The New York Times

DETAILS: At a campaign rally, Trump said that under a Biden presidency, Vladimir Putin would “be given everything he wants, including Ukraine.”

“That’s a gift. He’s got a gift,” Trump added.

The NYT notes that Biden has been calling on world leaders and the US Congress for months to provide Ukraine with more military aid and that Trump has been undermining these efforts, but on 14 February, the former president tried to change the scenario, saying he would do more to defend Ukraine than Biden.

Well, thats interesting. Trump has made a few statements about supporting Ukraine recently, but this one is unambiguous.

Is it possible we will soon see a corresponding change of heart among the local anti-Ukraine types? What a choice - reject Trump, or reject years of commitment to a political line?

It is true that US aid has been tentative, limited by, I think, excessive turf warfare by parts of the Army wanting to hold onto “my precious”, in spite of their having no realistic need for it. The Biden admin has been oddly deferential in all this, besides being very respectful of Pentagon “process” - the very slow GLSDB procurement for instance. And then there is the F-16 fiasco. And then there is the Euro slow-roll, especially by the Germans, with little in the way of US “encouragement”.

There is a lot for Trump to criticize, if he wants to commit to this attack vector.

Simply claiming that information is false or “propoganda” because you don’t like the source or the information does not make it so.
My favorite is about Denys. If you actually watch his productions(gasp might make home some money like everyone on YouTube), you will see that he presents the good and the bad. There is no rose colored glasses filter, and he uses many sources including pro Kremlin mappers and info to present a picture of what he thinks is going on.
