Has anyone heard when the State of the Union address is? Last I heard it had been postponed until February. The “president” is required to give one.

Pretty sure the requirement is just that the the president provides a report. This can be done on paper, and does not require an in-person report.

Looks like March 7
Article II, Section 3, Clause 1
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; He could send a post-it note to congress "The State of the Union is OK" and sign it, to satisfy this requirement.
But I'm guessing "they" will give him the John Gill hypo

The “president” is required to give one. It used to be just a letter to Congress.

Could you source that part about the SOTU is a requirement. 🤔
A State of the Union address, by any president, is by invitation only. It is one extended by the Speaker of the House.
Courtesy may require a response to the invitation by the POTUS, but it is not a summons-to-appear, or a subpoena.
I have never heard that the tradition of the Sotu was made into a requirement, one branch over another.
