Excellent post!

Also what the dems desperately need is control of the legal system. They have it in many areas and use it to their advantage over and over. Just another reason they have to be in control.

True; they are well on their way, plus they have openly threatened the Supreme Court justices - Schumer's screaming stupidity on the SCOTUS steps, threats to pack the court, refusal to arrest loud demonstrators in front of justices' homes with family...

I suspect they have influenced Roberts to some extent. Also, I think the appointment of Jack Smith is unconstitutional. There is already a brief prepared to challenge that before SCOTUS but it needs Trump's legal team to sign on... which so far they have not doneβ—β“πŸ€”

IMHO the Trump legal team should have challenged the Letitia James/Alvin Bragg case a long time ago. Trump was denied a jury trial, prohibited from presenting some evidence, and declared guilty by the (impartial) judge before the trial even started. James got elected on a platform of 'Get Trump' and perverted an unused law to prosecute. Because Trump's attorneys did not appeal he must now put up $ half a billion bond or lose large real estate holdings to James. 🀷 And that when he needs $$$ to campaign for POTUS. ❓❓❓

You can say that I do not understand his legal team's strategy.😬
