I suspect they have influenced Roberts to some extent. Also, I think the appointment of Jack Smith is unconstitutional. There is already a brief prepared to challenge that before SCOTUS but it needs Trump's legal team to sign on... which so far they have not doneββπ€
IMHO the Trump legal team should have challenged the Letitia James/Alvin Bragg case a long time ago. Trump was denied a jury trial, prohibited from presenting some evidence, and declared guilty by the (impartial) judge before the trial even started. James got elected on a platform of 'Get Trump' and perverted an unused law to prosecute. Because Trump's attorneys did not appeal he must now put up $ half a billion bond or lose large real estate holdings to James. π€· And that when he needs $$$ to campaign for POTUS. βββ
