U.S. model 1832 foot artillery sword, by the looks of it. Neat little sword, but like all of them not very easy to conceal.

I don’t know much of anything about swords, but not quite from what I see. They seem to have wide blood grooves and curves a bit from the narrow hilt area, like Roman short swords. This one is straight-edged with no real curvature.

But indeed (also unlike the samples online), this one boldly states USMA.

Doesn’t sound too medieval, but probably genuine. Pretty cool.
