Less than 2’ LOA? More like a dagger than anything else... My kukri (Panawal, Kukri House, Napal) is about that size... but with a much thicker blade on it.
I never realized that the United States Military Academy existed during the medieval period. Admittedly, the large “USMA” letters near the business end of the blade are in a German Gothic script.

I’ve got a two foot long Confederate style D-Guard Bowie knife hand forged for me by a blacksmith/bladesmith in Crossville, TN. It’s darn near a sword. I guess she was having a bad day.
All assault weapons don’t look alike but only a few are outlawed because they go bang.
I don’t know much of anything about swords, but not quite from what I see. They seem to have wide blood grooves and curves a bit from the narrow hilt area, like Roman short swords. This one is straight-edged with no real curvature.
But indeed (also unlike the samples online), this one boldly states USMA.
Doesn’t sound too medieval, but probably genuine. Pretty cool.
Yeah, it looks historically genuine. Hope they don’t destroy it.

Loudon County used to be a nice quiet place for people

Happening to my mother’s hometown hamlet now, which is a mainstay in our lives. Hippies taking over, and now you see gay flags and BLM virtue-signaling signs and gigantic “hippie” and “peace sign” logos that are PART of the Main Street BUSINESSES! Not just houses, the business!
