My problem getting a date in DC was that there were no decent men.
I remember one blind date set up by a friend; almost as soon as I sat down in the bar, the guy stated that needed to let me know up front that he was not interested in marriage and kids.
So romantic! And I wondered what he WAS interested in...
I never saw him again.
