"...might make the knockers dread knocking."
And that is EXACTLY what Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote, isn't it?

My rules for a good day — there are only three with one overrider:
(1) Laugh or smile about something. Anything.
(2) Get someone else to laugh or smile about something. Anything.
(3) Learn something new.
The overrider: have faith in and pray to God.

If AI ever becomes capable of writing this, then I have two observations:
1) We will have developed an AI that is not dangerous to humanity, and
2) We will have developed an AI that has emotional intelligence.
Both are worthy goals.

Both are worthy goals.
Shouldn’t we try it with people first?

Thank you for this reminder, Laz. It has been easy lately to get caught up in focusing on all of the wrongs, and I need to do a better job of treasuring the rights.

Keep that in the forefront of your mind, and live each day to your fullest, despite the foolishness of our so-called elected officials. They don't matter, your people do.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You have arrived at a Buddhist Truth.
All things will pass, they are impermanent, and so we enter the present moment fully, unhindered by the past or future, love is the only extant thing that will survive the force of impermanance.
One day this body will be a corpse, so concentrate on liberating yourself and others from the cycle of suffering , old age sickness and death. This is the way of the Bodhisattva Warrior.
Human beings can liberate themselves in this way. Whole Kingdoms have been established on this principle over the last 2600 years.Such as that of Ashoka Maharaja , and the Kings of Shambhala.
Thank you for your brilliant reminder Laz, and my heart sings that you have achieved peace and love in your life.Say hello to the Humble for me.

OTOH, American citizens and their weapons load-out might make the knockers dread knocking. ;^) That's a pretty good summation of what the 2nd Amendment is all about.

So very touching. True words of wisdom from a special kind of guy. Always knew you were one of a kind, Laz.

Remember, while we may not be able to control the actions of elected officials, we can control how we respond and shape our own experiences.
