What is a “sideshow?”

Does it have something to do with drug dealers, murderers, rapists, or illegals?

Or does it have something to do with citizens with assets that need to be confiscated for some reason?

Urban culture impromptu "driving" exhibitions on city streets. Kind of the "son of cruising" from the 50s and 60s.
