A 26-year-old New York woman vented her frustration on social media when her attempts to go door-to-door in the hopes of finding a job were not what she expected.
Lohanny Santos, from Brooklyn, showed tears rolling down her face on TikTok after she says her failed job hunt gave her “the most humbled” reality check she’s ever felt in her young life.

Yes. There are help wanted signs all over the place here in NH.
Go to Mexico then recross the border making sure you have no ID on you then claim you are an asylum seeking radical mute Muslim trans gay man. You will never have to work again!
Lol. I see what you did there.
“This is not what I expected.”
Life’s lessons are particularly tough for the naive and unprepared/underprepared.

With that extremely weak college degree, my advice to her would be to move out of NY city and get a job selling real estate or insurance......
It isn't just high paying jobs that are being lost. It's tax revenue paid from those jobs. China has built up their infrastructure and military, while we had to borrow billions to bail out our auto industry (and we still lost Chrysler), and we had to raise the debt limit to pay the interest on our loans.
And for what? Those cheaper prices and benefits to the consumer we were promised? So much for that promise.
You’re right. Americans are slicing their own throats to get the best price.
