Me either. Last summer I had a long drive up to Mass. from New York and I played about an hour of her stuff on Spotify, and I didn’t hear one interesting song. I thought all of them sounded like TV commercials. I think her popularity is more due to social media that anything having to do with her music which seems to be how things work today when it comes to the music industry
I don’t think TS is untalented. However, she seems shallow. Her voice is tinny, dependent on electronic music.
I grew up on the singers like Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Linda Ronstadt. I still enjoy them, even ignoring their politics. They had rich voices & repertoire — and a male fan base.
Stupid, vapid, the worst lyrical idiocy I can remember.
And there's been a LOT of bad kiddie rockers.
