Me too. Do their chopper radio(s) work from the ground, unless damaged in a crash?
Are there portable radio backups?
Does a chopper like that have black boxes and a emergency locator beacon that pings if a crash occurs?

I suppose a lot depends on how the debris was strewn. But would think they were all wearing communication devices.

My buddy was Marine in a helicopter group in Nam. His helicopter provided Security for Bob Hope and hovered over the stage. I lost my buddy a year ago. A Marine through and through.
