The reported appearance of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in the Russian capital has sparked intense speculation over the purpose of the conservative media personality's visit to Moscow.
Carlson arrived in Moscow on February 1, and was spotted attending the Bolshoi Theater in the capital, according to Russian outlet Mash.
Questions quickly swirled over why the TV anchor would have traveled to Moscow, and whether he intended to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin during the visit.

I certainly would watch it. Maybe he’ll interview Snowden as well.
It's Marcus that has repeatedly posted pictures of Putin on horseback with his shirt off, an obvious sign that Marcus has watched Brokeback Mountain too many times.
That's a fact.
Russia as a nation, and the Russian people, suffered because they had the population numbers and resources to decide any Western European War, if Russia could be brought to support one side or the other.
Every one of the Western European Nations tried every means (including intermarriage of royals and aristocracy) to seduce and/or control Russia.
That is what made Russians what they are.
France’s alliance with Russia caused WWI to spread like wildfire.
It’s a big journalistic score for Carson and Putin gets a propaganda outlet. It’s nothing more then that!
Unquestionably, the WEF and Biden regime are far greater threat to US citizens than Russia.
Odds that FBI is waiting with handcuffs for him at the airport when he returns?
“Tell that 20 million that have left Ukraine.”
And you would not avoid the Russian bombing and destruction if you could??!!! You make me laugh!!!
Corection: Or to the grieving RUSSIAN mothers and wives that have seen their sons and husband conscripted to the frontlines and used as cannon fodder.
What made the Russians what they are was several hundred years of Mongol oppression.
The truth shall set you free!
“I didn’t make it, and I don’t like it”
I agree with you.
MeganC has consistently voiced her objection to the distrators and detractors.
I believe most Freepers believe it is foolish except the ‘creators’ that post it.
+1
The notion that Carlson is 'unemployed' is hilarious...turn off your television Boob.
Yes, and there is considerable evidence that Marx's Communist philosophy (financed by rich aristocrat Engles), was exported to a financially poor Russian population for the purpose of reducing Russian support of France and England later in the war.
Tucker will have a problem with US Immigration when he returns if he disguised his final travel destination as being Moscow. His travel route through Turkey is a red flag. U.S. border agents can detain him and confiscate his phone and other electronics, too.
You post a lot of stuff you do not "create", and so do I.
Posting something that makes a point does not mean one "created" that content, likes, or approves of it.
It does reveal the quality of the person that DID create it, and the quality of those that laud that person.
There were several flavors of socialism in Russia prior to WWI. The Marxist version was a minority faction. The mostly failed 1848 European revolutions were everything from anarchism to socialism to social democracy. These revolutionaries were in every European country and caused varied degrees on unrest. The failed 1905 demonstration/revolution in Russia had plenty of Marxist participants.
