Is America Already A Dead Country?
American Thinker ^ | 2 Feb, 2024 | Robin M. Itzler

If you had made a list of all the actions a “president” could take to destroy the United States of America, it would include almost everything Joe Biden has done since moving into the White House. Biden’s “success” in wrecking this country is helped by a Republican party filled with too many RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) and not enough America First Patriots.

Our republic’s Founding Fathers, all men of strong Christian faith who believed in Judeo-Christian values and limited government, would be aghast to see what has become of our country.

Many political observers think 2024 is our last opportunity to save the republic. Bernie Marcus, Home Depot co-founder and a staunch Donald Trump supporter, said on Larry Kudlow’s Fox News Business program:

But the truth of the matter is that if we don’t change the government in this next ‘24 election, this country is dead. I’ve never said that before. I don’t see any way out.

Will Donald Trump stop the Democrat party from spreading its socialist tentacles, or is America already like Dr. Malcolm Crowe?

In the 1999 film The Sixth Sense, child psychologist Malcolm Crowe, played by Bruce Willis, is seriously injured after he and his wife (Olivia Williams) arrive home late in the evening. Several hours earlier, he had proudly received a prestigious award, but an ex-patient lurked in the darkness of their upscale Philadelphia house, waiting to viciously attack and shoot his former doctor. [Spoiler alert for the rare souls who haven’t seen the movie.]

Following the assault, Malcolm goes back to his practice. He begins working closely with Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a young boy with mental health issues. Cole’s mother, Lynn (Toni Collette), is beside herself trying to help her young son and believes Malcolm is the boy’s only hope...

Good comment and the blunt reality of the situation. One difference from my own perspective... No need to worry about the leftist judiciary tying the hands of a GOP congress. Because they are traitors who will tie their own hands and even help the leftists tie up Trump. Which makes his odds of success even less. He is going to get absolutely no help from anyone on the hill. They will all be working 24-7 to undermine him every chance they get. The cards are stacked against Trump actually getting anything done in the right direction if he is elected.

No one wants to hear it but that is just the reality of it. While we need to fight and hope for the best but we had better wrap our heads around the fact that the worst is right now the most likely outcome. Ignoring reality and having a false sense of security will be our Achilles heel. A false sense of security and reality is exactly what put us in this situation we are in right now.

The Republicans in Congress should try to send to the states a constitutional amendment that would cap middle class property taxation, such as:

Property tax on any residential property of less than 2799 square feet of finished space shall be no higher the 2019 dollar amount on the property, or for a newer or since resold property what a similar property in the same area would have been taxed at for 2019 if it lacked owner specific tax breaks, increased by 3% per calendar year since 2019 and by any percentage increase to its finished space.

Fighting for such a property tax cap now in Congress would add the electors of several deep blue states to Trump’s total and make Congress turn deep red come November.

Even devoted Democratic voters do not want to get taxed out of their homes.

How would schools get funded if property taxes are capped to 2019 scale levels? By higher sales taxation and by services taxation that is used in Florida in lieu of having a state income tax.

I don’t want to pay for schooling of the kids of the people pampering the well-to-do. The pampered people need to pay for such schooling via service taxation.

Finally, the simple correct answer. This country is deceased, but many are in denial. It’s over for the US. We are currently in the carcass being picked over phase.

“Many political observers think 2024 is our last opportunity to save the republic. “

It’s the last chance by the Law that demonrats so often ignore. But anybody who thinks Patriots are going to lay down for the demons at the last extremity is mistaken.

Trump doesn’t have the taste for what could turn this around. He proved this by allowing himself to be hog-tied in his first term. I doubt he’s changed.

The first term was certainly a learning experience for Trump. Even his own party obstructed much of his agenda and worked with the Democrats to hog-tie him as much as possible. Despite all that, he was able to make pretty much all his campaign promises.

His second term would have been "no holds barred" because he'd no longer be concerned with re-election. This is why the establishment government (Dems and Repubs) pulled out all stops to cheat him out of it. They were truly frightened of a Trump second term.

It's also why we have this relentless lawfare campaign launched on him. They would rather jail him on trumped up, fake crimes than to see him get back in. Just look at the Republicans sitting on their hands while all this lawfare goes on. That proves they are in on it.

It is almost a blessing in disguise that Trump was not able to serve his second term after his 2020 re-election victory (due to fraud). We still had a mostly anti-Trump Congress that would have continued desparate attempts to stop his agenda.

It will still be a rough road this time around but America has now had four years of the puppet Biden presidency to see just how bad things are with the DC swamp.

Therefore, I think Trump's victory this November will be resounding - well outside the margin of fraud - and will give him an actual mandate.

This time around, Trump seems to be (behind the scenes) building a large group of loyal people who he will take to DC with him and we are likely to see a much more effective Administration this time around.

Trump's campaign style so far this year has been much more somber and dignified (at least by Trumpian standards) and I think we will see more of that approach once he secures the nomination - which will be just weeks away.

Trump has obviously learned a few things since his first term.

I just feel bad for all the young folks not having much of a future. I have two grandchildren that go to private school.

Look at Post WW II, Germany and Japan were completely destroyed, they reformed and came back at least for a while bigger and stronger.

Hopefully, we don’t go thru something like that, but in this day and age anything is possible.

I think our current constitution if followed would eliminate most of our problems, if get destroyed and come back should we adopt the same constitution, YES but with some tweaks.

Basic stuff like term limits on Congress, more teeth int he 10th amendment that would limit the Federal Government from so much control over our daily lives, sound money, elimination of the Federal Reserve, etc.

I’m a firm believer that the closer to the people the better the government, once you advance beyond the State Level Government, ultimately it turns out bad for everyone.

“....Yes the country is already dead. There is nothing that can fix it.”

That’s defeatist and pessimistic and 100% true. Add in the national debt and it’s all over. I can’t even imagine what will remain in 50 years.

Contrary to popular belief Trump is just a man, he is not an archangel with the powers to perform miracles.

Blunt truth is if Trump wins everyone on the hill and half of this country will want him dead ASAP let alone give him one bit of wiggle room or support to get much done.

But he is the only last ditch effort we have to slow the machine a bit as you say. All the others are already bought and paid for and we may as well just vote Democrat.

There are a couple of problems with this rant.

1) The author believes electing a Republican, or Republicans, equals "changing the government". Most of the government is no longer responsive to elections, and hasn't been for a long time.

2) She believes America can be saved without Democrats, and the way the economic system is run is our biggest problem, both of which are absurd.

“I can’t even imagine what will remain in 50 years.”

Looks like the stain is pretty well set against the future my Grandchildren. It will take a bunch of miracles and many years to reverse the damage that has been done.

I appreciate your enthusiasm. I would like this nation to be worth something, coming out of this.

But, I am beginning to accept that politics won’t stop this. America is being conned into sterilizing its children, even now. This is an evil beyond politics.

I, personally, view Trump’s first term as an outcome that the Uniparty wanted. They did not want Hillary. Her “Reset” button would launch ICBMs. They thought they could manage Trump and get some pushback on their masters and they were right.

I think even if Trump wins it’ll go hot simply because for the Demons this is their religion and they are never wrong. They have promised over and over that a Trump win is absolutely intolerable. If their guy loses there will be bloodshed.

Mark Levin had a book that detailed a few amendments he’d suggest. All of your recommendations were in the book.

A few minor tweaks is all, mainly because the writers didn’t intend people to live so long so a lifetime appointment was usually under ten years.

“We’re not voting our way out of this.”

Nope. Against all popularity and front runner advantages Trump has, the outcome has already been decided. They will steal it again, and the courts will of course let them steal it. Gavin will be appointed president and Michele will be vice president.

There is a solution, but nobody wants to face reality

No, there truly is no solution. It would be like thinking there was a solution for the Indians in 1820 to prevent the Europeans from taking over. There wasn't. At that point it was inevitable.

IF they would have organized in 1620 and IF they dedicated themselves to modernizing themselves over the next 200 years and IF they got a whole bunch of luck....maybe there would have been a shot. But for them to say in 1820, "Let's start fighting now. Maybe we have a chance to win."...would have been stupid.

We have waited too long. They are too entrenched. Their takeover is complete. There is nothing left to do but navigate the decline in our civilization and our culture.

Perhaps in 100 or 200 years there may be light on the other side of the tunnel if there are any 1st world Christians left.
