Gotta admit, that was my least favorite installment of The Why Files. So many ridiculous tropes thrown out and without A.J.’s unusual bucket of ice cold water at the end.
There’s no “lost Templar secret.”
The key to us all living in peace and abundance is staring him in the face and won’t say it.
I think ‘They’ got to him.

It’s fairly clear he was going out of his way not to offend the Templar guy who contacted him personally.
It is a useful introduction to the narrative that some faction may try to create though.
