The important thing is that they are having a wheely good time.
Besides, the bistanders would Harley notice if anyone fell off.
Safety in numbers. It Hinduces others to give it a whirl.
In India, as many as it can curry.
If you count the "mother-in-law" seat ...
“When I want to get away, the thought of jumping on a giant floating apartment building, jammed with 6,000 obnoxious loud tourist, has the same appeal for me as a rattlesnake bite.”
Have not had a bad cruise yet, even with the more like 5K obnoxious loud tourist.
Not sure about some of the new ships that can carry 7K plus tourist.
that will overwhelm any port.
We are getting of topic on this thread so I will stop.
I had a vaguely similar conversation with one of my daughters today as we were driving around.
There are a number of campgrounds out where I live and all of them are the same and it doesnt make any sense to me.
These city people want to get away from it all and go “camping” on vacation. These people put themselves in debt which of course requires more work to pay off so that they can buy a giant camper. They bring it way out here but then bring it to a campground where they barely wedge their camper into their little spot right next to a whole bunch of other giant campers. After hooking up the cable for the TV and everything, they sit in the crowded little spot that is left next to their giant camper and stare at the others that have all done exactly the same thing.
There is nothing to do there but they insist they “are having a good time” by sitting in a different crowded place doing nothing because this crowded place is a better crowded place where there is nothing to do than the crowded place with nothing to do where they are from.
Correct. I ride one.
The correct answer to that one is the same as for a Jeepney. Always one more.
Sorry for the image size.
Speaking of Jeepneys, the gubmint wants them gone;

Groan, groan, groan.
“There are a number of campgrounds out where I live and all of them are the same and it doesnt make any sense to me.”
Have seen the same thing with in-laws nice stuff but bring all the modern stuff to the camp ground. Watch the football game on tv and ignore the trees and maybe “Big Foot”
Ever see their Commuter Trains..people on the roof
Okay, puns are really low so maybe you want naan of it.
I'm terribly sari.
After all, India is no place for a pun jab.
I should sikh higher ground.
These self-driving vehicles have gone too far!....................
I’ve been in Pune and Chennai on extended business trips. Actually spent some time getting to know the locals. For what they earn, the amount of space available, and the expense of owning a car, they mostly buy small motorcycles. Usually the biggest on the road is a 175cc. Motorcycles don’t have to pay tolls and just shoot around the plazas. They can refuel on the road from roadside vendors (probably illegal, but common). Park pretty much anywhere. The biggest issues are weather, inaccessibility to the major highways, and passenger capacity. I’ve seem families of 5 on one bike, but 3 to 4 is much more common. For what it’s worth most are Indias middle class and not poor by local standards.
“Groan...”
Let’s not caste aspersions here. Some award deserved there for that pun-filled retort to the groans!
It could be that ryder-ann sees us as helpless dalinquents, stirring the pot,
and if this had happened in Kannada, would still want nunavut.
It could be that “groan groan groan” is onomotorpoeia for “Vroom Vroom Vroom”, but I was too ir-rev-erent to hear of it.
That’s what I get for not firing on all cylhindus,
so ghee me a brake, okay? Maybe even a Patel the back for trying.
I’ll leave the light on for you..
Oh Lordy...it gets worse and worse.
