I understand the reference. My point is that while building a vessel to accommodate 8,000 paying customers, the experience of enjoying the salt air from the comfort of a deck chair doesn’t exist because the decks are gone.
I fear tragedy on a grand scale
Ah- I didn’t realize modern ships didn’t have decks or deck chairs for folks- they should have and make the chairs flotation devises capable of keeping a person afloat should anything happen. Chairs and debri certainly helped some folks escape death-
