They beat the cheating Democrat Astros and win the World Series.
The other Texas Rangers fall under the Texas Department of Public Safety and they do three things:
1. Conduct major violent crime, public corruption, cold case, and officer-involved shooting investigations.
2. Lead the department’s border security program with a mission to deter, detect and interdict criminal activity across the Texas/Mexico border.
3. Oversee the department’s tactical program (SWAT, special response, reconnaissance, explosive ordnance disposal) and conduct crisis negotiations.
