I’m afraid I’d get nauseated which I can mildly do while really getting into just a curved monitor. The VR manufacturers get lots of first week returns for just that reason.

Plus my CPU, even though a 10th gen Core i5, really isn’t totally up to it.

It’s a fact that 3D and VR goggles causes the mind to have to work harder.
Unless they can create a holographic viewer on a tabletop, it will probably fail.

Games as well. Depending on how straining it could be for the eyes, it would be intetesting to be immersed in a 3D world.

No matter how good it is, it’s still a telescreen.

I was waiting to see the guy trip over a chair as he was exploring the panorama, sort of like Biden looking for the stairs. They must have edited that part out.
But the big fail was that the explainer wasn’t a black chick, and the experiencer wasn’t a dumb white guy.

Off the top of my old head, real life beats media fantasy hands down. Face to face. Heal the wounds.

This technology could be useful for school curriculum. Extra-curriculum on your own time.

No, you can actually see your surroundings and other people in the area; its transparent in that regard.

The Quest is a fraction of the cost (399), has a huge library of apps/content. The Quest 3 does pass thru AR very well.
I don’t understand why Apple would jump in with a product at the same price point as the Magic Leap, which failed miserably.
