In a new YouTube video, Van Halen singer David Lee Roth launches a sudden verbal attack on his one-time bandmate, the son of the late Eddie Van Halen

“I brought my pencil”
Roth’s fussy bad boy image sounded dumb in his 20’s and 30’s. It’s even worse in his late 60’s.
“I don’t feel (re) tardy.”
exactly....these old wrinkled rockers need to...as Joan Rivers used to say.....”grow up.” Don’t they know how close they are to judgement day? Life is no game and the stakes are huge.
I went to a sort of reunion tour with Roth as the lead. He was so out of it, he couldn’t remember the words to the songs.
Earth Wind and Fire opened up for them, they were better than VH. I at least got to see Eddie do a solo guitar beatdown, THAT was awesome. Rest of the tour got canceled after that show. (I think)
Senile Agitation is real.
Yeah, I was going to say, Earth Wind and Fire were probably better.
Roth fighting with the Van Halens. Its like I’m back in college! (and I graduated a loooong time ago).
I don’t know what everyone’s all so worked up about. Of course they’re fighting. Everyone in that band except for Michael Anthony was nuts.
Anyway, I was shocked when "Diamond Dave" changed outfits between each song, and demonstrating how much of a diva he is in the extremely pejorative sense.
After that, I have always considered him more of a clown than a serious musician.
Recent interview with Hagar and Mike Anthony. They look happy, content, loving life.
Alex did his drum solo, Eddie his guitar, David forgot the words and Wolfgang played bass. I was hoping Michael Anthony would be there, but Wolfgang did OK.
Roth is just and ass, he couldn’t get along with any of them, so I have no doubt he would attack Eddies kid.
Click bait headline.
Rolling Stone is a lying, Leftist rag but that’s redundant.
Are we a gossip site now?
That's ok, neither can Dave. I saw them on that tour. Dave was so hammered he could barely stand. After delaying the show for a half hour, he fell down during the first song and forgot the words. They left the stage for about 20 minutes then came back and finished the show. Terrible performance by Dave, but the rest of the band was great. Eddie was amazing.
he needs more prune juice
High school for me. I saw the first Van Hagar tour and it was so long ago Bachman Turner Overdrive opened for them.
