I thought most kids were potty trained by age 2.

Not BY 2. But they start around 2 and will hopefully be “day trained” by 3. Bed-wetting should resolve by around 4. Got the 30 month old grandson going to the potty at every diaper change. Flushing. Washing hands. But he’s not fully capable of understanding how the plumbing routine totally needs to go yet.

“I thought most kids were potty trained by age 2.”

Have you been to the baby department at Wal Mart or other stores lately?

Have you not noticed the Pull Ups they have for kids as old as 6 years old?

Next time you are at the supermarket go and look. Then ask yourself why we did not need these things when we were that age. Yes I’m sure there were some children with bladder and bowel problems but not that darn many.

That’s what I remember. By two at the latest.
