Every menu has a warning about under cooked meat, now they want you sign a release form, for a medium burger.

And, this is why corporate chefs produce garbage.

Don't they serve Steak Tartare in the French-speaking provinces of Canada? They serve it in France, and I doubt they make people sign a waiver.
I know that several years ago, when I was out of NY State traveling south, some restaurants wouldn't give you a rare piece of meat. Medium or well done were the only options.

Medium? Why would he want an overcooked burger?

Grew up eating medium hamburgers and never got sick. Most did back then, it was common.

In France, Hamburger Tartar was all the rage.
Saw two beautiful young women (jeunes femmes) eating raw burgers with green peppers, onion and spices - weird.

This could be so much fun.
All kinds of editorial comments could be made on the form.
Nasty comments about lawyers would be good.

If you want medium rare, you have to sign over your first born.

Have the steer walk in the sunshine before ya grind it and grill it.
That’s cooked enough for me.

I would never eat a hamburger not well done. Never know about that ground up meat. Steaks, medium rare or rare.

I had to sign a waiver once because I asked that they cook a burger as rare as legally possible.

In Toronto. I wonder if there is a release form for poutine.
To: DallasBiff
If you had already taken a bite the form was moot. They should have had you sign first. There was a hair salon that, during covid, wanted you to sign a waver. They asked me to sign after my haircut. I said no. They seemed surprised.
