There’s 5G poles (not towers any more) all over the place.

They are even in residential areas, disguised as utility poles. There are more of them because 5G signals don’t travel as far as the older signals did.....

1. There are some new frequencies being used, and there are old, long-standing frequencies being re-used.
2. There are newer methods to squeeze more data throughput through the exact same frequency as before, using the exact same broadcast wattages. (Algorithms and encoding)
5G means both, while “algorithms and encoding” is just efficiency with any frequency used and “frequency” can mean every prior frequency and a bunch of new ranges, with the highest only reliably transmitting a small number of miles.
The new frequencies at the highest frequencies are, last I saw, owned and used by Verizon, primarily, as they bought those. They are best used for high density population centers.
The wattage used by Verizon's frequencies stays low, but when you get more of these in a small area, I would expect more body radiation. Whether that body radiation equates to cancer or such is a completely different concern. We haven't been using Verizon's frequencies much before, but car radar detectors are an example of one higher frequency user.
I do note I have sporadically better service with my new 5G phone, but only sometimes can it appear better than what I previously had. That comes down to saturation of antenna bandwidth, primarily, in my thinking.
And, no, I don't believe 5G hijacks sweat glands or make COVID vaccines make alien creatures that assemble space craft in our veins.
But it's 5G!
Yeah, we've heard that before. 🙄
Waiting to see what else turns up.....
Low-band 5G uses a similar frequency range to 4G cellphones, 600–900 MHz, High-band 5G uses frequencies of 24–47 GHz...................
Mid-band 5G uses microwaves of 1.7–4.7 GHz.......................
It’s the High Band, 24–47 GHz, that has some people worried..............
GigaHurtz is a lot more painful than MegaHurtz ... therefore DHMO must be banned!
For the Children!
Because Science!
What the author fails to state is all of these supposed negatives occur with ALL radio waves.
And 5G is no different, other than the fact it penetrates far less deeply into the human body.
Your kitchen microwave is FAR more dangerous.
Also, microwave ovens, silicone implants, amalgam fillings, aluminum cookware, artificial sweeteners, meat, global warming -- oh, and if you die in your dream you'll die for real.
Yes, I understand, if I worked downtown I may be more concerned.
I might also ask a person if they were more worried about that old UHF TV station from 1977 with an ERP of 500,000 watts, or this T-Mobile "5G" cell tower with an ERP of 100W.
I have 5G and I noticed zero difference.
“I can see a 5G tower from my house”. our internet is no better than the internet in Russia even though I can’t see Russia from my house.
I can remember back to when some people spoke of the same fears from microwave ovens...
Me too excypt some tiop the typojg goes wrong
We actually debated that question in college in Psych 101. I put a fairly quick end to it with one simple observation," If somebody did die in their dream and then died for real, how would you know?". The professor-ette smiled in approval and we went onto another subject...........
I sell colodial silver making kits.
Colodial silver counteracts 5g damage.
