Taylor Swift, Jerrod Carmichael, Cara Delevingne and a shirtless Jason Kelce were in good company on Sunday.
CBS‘ broadcast of the NFL Divisional Playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills averaged 39.3 million total viewers from 7 to 10 pm ET on Sunday evening.
The very close contest, which the Chiefs wound up winning by a score of 27-24, also averaged a 9.9 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
The total Chiefs/Bills audience cited above marks a 14% gain in viewership versus the comparable year-ago match-up between the Cowboys and 49ers (San Francisco bested Dallas 19-12), and a 9% increase in the demo.

It’s all very contrived and orchestrated to draw clicks, eyeballs and ultimately your $.
I, too, haven’t watched a game since the kneeling started.

... and I sure don’t intend to start now.
What I do not understand about next weekends AFC/NFC Championship games is why don’t they have one Saturday night at 6:00 and the other Sunday night at 6:00 ?
Instead they have both on Sunday.
Time differential. East coast-West coast.
Because it’s NFL Football Sunday. Sunday is their day. They only use Saturday in the playoffs because they have too many games for their Sunday slots. Now they only have 2 games, so they munge the schedule across their 3 normal slots.
It certainly has helped Travis’ advertising revenue.
He is on commercials all the time now.
He got $25MM from Pfizer for the covid vaccine ad he did.
All his other ad revenue is about $5MM total.
They can. But I don’t think they will. Too bad. I’ve always been a Lions fan.
Okay, IMHO I think it would be better to split them up. One each afternoon/evening. It is not like college football is still going on at this point. Alternate yearly Saturday AFC & Sunday NFC. Next year reverse.
The Superbowl is always on at 6pam EST
Inners aren’t making it :-) Go Lions
I turned it off just after halftime, because I knew the Bills would find a way to lose it, and was sick of watching the Chiefs win. All Allen had to do was run it twice on 2nd and 9, run the clock and probably could have run it in for a TD too, but at least the FG would have been good from inside the 5. The Chiefs could not stop Allen running all night. Instead they have him throw it twice and attempt a long FG in high winds. The Offensive coordinator for Buffalo is ass.
It's goong to be Lions vs Ravens and the Lions will win.
He knows what Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing felt all those years.
Not if Spagnuolo has anything to say about it. Chiefs defense is nasty!
Chiefs vs Lions and the Chiefs will win.
I stopped watching after the unbelievable call to go for 4th and 5 at their own 30-yard line. Dumbest thing I ever saw.
“ Kind of like a high school romance in the 60s, when “going steady” meant the girl wearing her boyfriend’s varsity jacket”
Seems like traditional values being displayed here.
Chiefs defense did stop the running in the second half. Buffalo held to only 7 points that half.
